Gone are the days when we only bedecked our houses with wreaths and decorations once a year - filling our homes with spring blooms and homemade crafty decs is such a beautiful way to celebrate Easter and the change in seasons. Here are just a few Easter kids craft ideas and decorations to fill your home and table this Easter weekend:

Caran D’Ache Neocolor II Watersoluble wax oil pastels (from £16.99) are a brilliant addition to the craft cupboard - they are brilliantly pigmented so give a real pop of colour, don’t make a mess and draw on a HUGE range of surfaces, from glass to eggshells - the perfect paint-free option for decorating your own eggs this Easter.

Bringing a spring tree into your home - like this Faux Forsythia from Hyggestyle.co.uk (£53.95) is actually a Northern European tradition - decorate yours with hand-painted eggs, chocolate treats or twinkly lights. It would make a fantastic table centrepiece for Easter Sunday lunch.

Talking of which - need something seasonal for your Simnel cake? We love this fun rabbit cake stand from Marquis & Dawe (£14)

If you haven’t got the green-fingered skills (or the time!) to make a spring wreath of seasonal blooms, this fun pom pom easter wreath from Chi Chi Moi (£55) will last year after year.

Need to keep the smalls occupied over Easter lunch? Lay the table with this giant Easter colouring-in tablecloth from Eggnogg and they’ll be occupied all afternoon (£10 for 2).

If Sunday lunch is a dress-up affair, this felt floral head-dress from Meri Meri (£16.50) is super sweet and would finish off any egg hunter’s outfit, perfectly.

This handmade Easter bunny garland (£35) from Etsy would look beautiful in a baby’s nursery, or strung from a mantelpiece this Easter. A proper heirloom piece.
